Favorite fishing tv shows

Just wondering what are some good shows out there? I watch every Monster Fish, River Monsters, Hooked, and Fish warrior, all of them are good. i dont really like the WFN so much, because most shows are wierd American shows.

I used to like Fishing Alberta and Sport Fishing on the Fly. I don't think Fishing Alberta has been on for at least 5 years. I'm not sure about SFOTF, but I don't get that show with my cable package.

Lindner's fishing edge by far the best in my opinion. THe next bite, in fisherman tv, fishn canada, dave mercer, and good ol bob izumi are my other favorites that I record on the pvr.

Can't remember the names of the shows but I watch everything with Brian Chan and Phil Rowley.

For hardware fishing I really like Charlie Wray and Fishful Thinking.

"Hooked with Mark Kruppa" is a great Canadian fly fishing show. Very different from all the others.

2x, He's the best in my opinion, but he hasn't made anything new recently, from my knowledge. I also enjoy flymax films/fly nation.

Bob Izumi's The Real Fishing Show. I have watched it since he came on the air when I was a kid. Still by far the best IMO. In-Fisherman, Lidner's Fishing Edge, In-Fisherman's Ice Fishing I catch if I am at the folks place. My wife won't let me get WildTV or WFN in our sat. pkg. Going to have to catch it online. Bill Dance was a favorite to watch for laughs.

Sorry to hijack this thread a bit. While on the topic of online streaming in my above post, but is that Recoil On Demand package still available? Last few times I was at WSS, I didn't see any. Could catch all the fishing shows ( and hunting) from WildTV and WFN.

River Monsters

Extreme fishing with Robson Greene. Look this show up. exotic locations, multiple locations/species per show and the host is always good for a laugh as he fails at everything!

Oh ya..... one more thing.... kinda funny

saw Leo Stakos and Ron James from FISH TV show in the
Saskatoon Airport a few weeks back ...

I enjoy their show quite a bit.... but

Both of these "CELEBRITYS : and their camera crew are going thru security after me and heres what happens.
Leo Stakos and the crew goes through no problem. Big Ron James
has a huge camera battery and they make him go back to the counter and check it in . WHAT AN ABSOLUTE COMEDY OF ERRORS !
The guys was totally ****ed off and put up a big stink in security.
SO he goes back out and and checks it in.... he comes back to
security and there are 30 people in front of him. So hes reaaalllly
****ed by the time he gets to the scanner etc. He has to disrobe most
of what he's wearing again.... belt off.... pockets empty etc.. bla bla bla.
And he just keeps setting off the alarms etc....

I have no idea on why these security guys put up with him. The guy
was an idiot. I could hear the guy from 60 ft. away echoing thru the
airport !! I would guess he was only seconds from getting booted out of
the airport for life !!!

The other cameraman and Leo Stakos were just laughing at him from
the waiting area as the big guys his blood pressure rose to a boiling
point !!!!


I was going to add to the fire by going up to him him and asking ....
" Hey ! aren't you Henry Waschuck ? "

But I'm sure that would have put him over the edge.

The guy went totally " Charlie Sheen " .....

remember good old Red Fisher the show was all about hanging in the woods at scuttlebut lodge telling fishing stories with your buds! To bad he isn't around anymore!
