Just curious if anyone has been down in the Castle region lately. I am headed there next week and wanted to see if I could get a firsthand report on the water levels and whether or not they have come down since the floods.

Any help is always appreciated.

i understand the salmon fly hatch this week was insane. the guys i spoke with did well. water levels were not discussed, but by the sounds of it it's all good.

Were they fly fishing or spin casting? Just curious.

I was out there yesterday and the water levels are still pretty high but not as bad as they were a few weeks ago. The water has cleared up and there were a few salmon flies still hanging around but the fish weren't looking up for them. We had alot of trouble trying to find hungry fish and when we did get bites it was on small prince nymphs. We ended up making our way to the crow before heading home and I landed 4 really good sized bows on an evil weevil and bh hares ear.
