I just bought a Nautilus Gell type(looks like a six pack) deep cycle battery from Canadian Tire. Seems to be a lot of thaughts on the proper way to charge it.
Anyone have any experience with the best method/type of charger.
Thanks in advance.BM

If you have a auto charger (voltage regulator one) just put on auto and let it go. Did that for a couple of em now, both of them have not gone dead yet.

Get a good trickle charger like C-Teck or Battery Tender. Once they are fully charged they will do "maitanence" on the battery by drawing them down a bit and re charging to full. Gell cells aren't as bad for it as liquid filled but they will still sulfate unless you maintain them.
check out the nautilis charger that canadian tire sells.
i have one & love it.
it has settings for reg, gel,& deep cycle batterys.
2w 10w 15w settings.
a little pricey but worth it i.m.o.
