Personal pontoon on Lower K?

I've never been out there and only have my fishcat. Is this lake suitable for a pontoon? Is it even worth taking one there or is a guy just as well to fish from shore. I am planning on fly-fishing. Thanks for any input you may have.

It's fine, I take my tube out there all the time. The only thing you have to watch for is the wind.
