Not too sure what u mean by tying jigs? As far as flys go, u could try asking around at 'The Outdoorsman' on Allowance Avenue. Lotsa local anglers go there for gear. Try asking the salesmen as well, really nice guys, but since they sell items for making flies they may just try and sell you some supplies instead......or just buy some pretied ones right there....they have thousands.
Hope this helps.
Good Luck:)

I usually purchase all my flies and jigs from The Outdoorsman, but it seems they get a few in, then the same ones never come back again. I have lost a few, and they do not have any left. Nor do they know if they'll get the same ones back again. I asked who ties their stuff for them, and all I got was the name Gordon, no last name or contact info. So if any one is willing, I'd greatly appreciate the help.

log onto gowalleye.com and look for 'fishing jigs and things' for a local guy (Redcliffe) that sells bulk jigs and the like.

When I was down in the states at Cabela's they had tons of good colors of everything! And lots of colors of thread.. For thread - don't go cheap.. Use Kevlar.. From what I have found, alot less chances of breaks and fraying while tying...

I think you are refering to Walter Lawson in Redcliff, not sure if he still does, but he would be the right person to inquire with..

Good Luck !

There's a fellow from Medicine Hat named Mike Brown that used to operate the FliesByMike website which provided a custom tying service. That website is long gone but here's a link with some contact info.

I've never seen his flies in person but I've fished with a friend of his that said the quality is good.

Cheers,
Ben
