Black Nugget Lake

Good Day Folks,spent the weekend out at black nugget lake and though i was not dissappointed with the campground(had a great location along the lake side site #42)the fishing was bad,not a bite or nibble did see two trout hit the surface,did try every trick i can think of but nothing. Don't see myself returning any time soon.:fishing::fishing::confused:

Every year they stock it with 25,000 to 15000 fish..
The cormorants eat most of the fish within a week.
I have told them to spread out the stockings but they know it all..

I was there myself on the weekend and same story. Very nice campsite but the fish just weren't happening. All in all a good weekend though
