Anyone one know a good spot where I can catch Walleye by shore? Close to the Spruce Grove area?

I don't know about Spruce Grove but if you go for a bit of a drive there is shore fishing to be had on the Little Smoky. Make a trip of it sometime! The lower reaches are the better walleye waters.

Most lakes are weeded up .best is to fish rivers or creeks that go into lakes.
east side at slave lake has a river, etc. Best is to hook up with somesone from the site that has a boat.
Just offer to pay for all the fuel for the boat and truck for the day, under the fishing partner wanted and you will get someone.

I have caught a few from shore at the narrows of Lac St Ann, but be shure to ask permission, as it is reserve land, just dont need any hassles.

Reminds me of a time they came and asked me for the Parking Fee... I whipped out my treaty card, and said "or not" And then i was asked if he could borrow $5 .. meh

I used to catch them at Isle, though if you did this year you'd either need tags or you'd have to release them. Not sure what the lake is like this year, haven't been out yet. But they have a few nice docks.

Not that surprised, skunked last time I fished it. Including trolling. Was fantastic a few years ago out on the dock. Hope to see it like that again.

I would suggest just heading to the NSR. I have had good luck casting into slack water with just a 1/4 oz. jig head with a curly tail or leech and reeling it in at a medium pace. Seems to always catch at least 1 walleye and the odd goldeye.
