Awesome!! first laker on Cold lake!!!

Well just got back from Cold lake and went for lakers for the frst time and love it i was born in cold lake but was to busy catching pike,walleys and pearch to go way out and fish the big water for lakers but man was i missing out!!! my first laker was a 12lb 2 oz and i caught it in 120ft out by english bay.

To all those thinking about going for lakers.....go!!!! they fight wicked hard!! and taste so goooood on the grill i cant wait to go back at the end of the month.

Wicked first laker man!! :cool:

I just got my first a couple weeks back, and like you said they're a very powerful fish, and they're a blast to catch!

I'm pretty sure we're going to be back up there at the end of the month as well...maybe we can make arrangements to hook up out on the lake :)
