Spray Lakes Info needed

Taking the kids to spray on the weekend for an outing. I will be in a boat not fishing from shore. We were thinking of trying for whitefish.......any pointers, techniques or tips would be appreciated.

I haven't been there for a while. The last time I had to go off the end of the launch to get the boat in enough water to launch it. Launching wasn't too bad, but loading was another story. Other people had spun out and dug holes in the gravel and it was hard to get out of the water. that was the last time I was there. If you go watch out for wind and watch for storms coming over the tops of the mountains.
