Prince Rupert is Rocking

Just got back from fishing for three days with Jamie at Great Pacific Salmon Lodge. Still a few big springs around and loads of coho. Had a totally awesome trip!

Nice fish, nice scenery. The last time I was in Rupert was 94 with my dad and older brother. Should go again sometime...........

Looks like fun, I know some people up there and they say the fishing is hot right now too. Got invited to go up august 5. Now I have to decide....... Huntfest or fishing? It really is a toss up. Might have to go to huntfest and charter a boat instead. Are there any sockeye hitting there right now? All I heard about were the springs and halibut.

Great photos TJ, looks like it was an amazing trip! It's great to see the colors while holding a Hali, they look awesome that way instead of plain old white bellies.

The commercial guys were hitting the sockeye pretty hard while we were there but I never heard of any sport fisherman going after them. The cohos were really going strong!

LOL...I wish. First fishing trip this year. Haven't even bought my Alberta licence yet.
