Hey Guys/Gals,
Im new to the whole flyfishing dealio... I have the necessities, 5/6 weight rod and reel, floating line, tippet, leader, etc, etc. I've even caught myself a couple brookies. NOW im looking for a decent set of neoprene waders. At the moment im looking at BARE waders partly because its what a couple of buddies have and they speak highly of them, and partly because thats all I can afford :sHa_shakeshout:
Specifically these two pairs..
Number one (https://www.thefishinhole.com/index.cfm?imageSku=9265310&enlargeSkuz=26502&FILTERBYMANUFACTURER=&GETPRODUCTSBYCLASSG=085&FILTERBYPRICE=AND%20retailPrice%20is%20not%20null&D=08&SORTPRODUCTSBY=ASC&FILTERBYCLASS=&GOZ=16&C=085&PAGEAT=2)
Number two (https://www.thefishinhole.com/index.cfm?imageSku=9186750&enlargeSkuz=21994&FILTERBYMANUFACTURER=&GETPRODUCTSBYCLASSG=085&FILTERBYPRICE=AND%20retailPrice%20is%20not%20null&D=08&SORTPRODUCTSBY=ASC&FILTERBYCLASS=&GOZ=16&C=085&PAGEAT=2)
What are peoples thoughts on these BARE waders?
Now, I dont know a whole lot about waders but from what i have heard neoprene is superior to most other materials. I will be using these waders mostly on my trout fishing expeditions in cold water (mountain/foothill lakes and rivers) and the odd pike hunting excursions around Edmonton.
Im looking for a pair of waders that are comfortable, warm, inexpensive (under 100 preferably) and DURABLE. I want waders that will LAST. Keep in mind these will get used maybe 15ish times per year.
Any tips or suggestions are MUCH appreciated!
