does anyone have any flyfishing advice for me? Im not a new flyfisher however I am new to river fly fishing (reading water, currents and where to fish). I heard muddlers are working well at night and Caddis in the morning? Any Advice would be awesome, Thanks!

Stoneflies have been good for the last few weeks, and the caddis are starting to get going now.

I'm assuming you are talking about the Bow. Last night I had one hookup and a few misses with a big stimulator. We did see some big stoneflies on the water and tons of caddis but nothing was rising to the caddis. Not sure what is working in the morning as I'm usually working :(

Generally speaking your going to have much more success nymphing on the Bow. Dries and streamers work at time but over all you will find the fish are going for nymphs. Use split shoot, enough to get your fly to the bottom quickly and watch your indicator for sudden movement. If your indicator stops or moves suddenly, set your hook. Of late, the fish are in close to the banks, very close but that should change if the water level drops to what would be a normal flow. Hope that helps a little. Rick.
