Those Banjos work great for early spring Pike! Steady jerk and twitch action will consistantly put fish in the boat! I swear by them.

the banjos minnows are what you pay for 100% lots of great actions and are dealy for a throw back lure or if a pike wont bite and u can see it(sightfishing). I love em i got 3 packs of them.

The blue and clear is my favorite ones.
they work good for pike/walleye. havent tried them for bass

The banjo minnows are Awesome pike lures. I have guided and caught numerous 20 lb + pike on them. They work best for sight fishing and are NOT supposed to "swim". The action is minimal and mimics a dying fish. Almost everyone "over fishes" them. Ie. they fish them too fast and twitch them TOO much.
Cast it, reel your line tight then give it a small twitch. This will usually attract pike in the area. Then wait, usually the morre the better. Eventually the pike will get tired of staring at this "free lunch" and swallow the lure. If not give it a second Smaller twitch and this helps induce a strike. As mentioned by a previous poster this is most effectivley done through sight fishing but will work blind cadting too.
Good luck and good fishing. Hope thhis helps.
