A good friend of mine caught this bad boy.....I need to hear the story and details but I thought I would share a pic....

9 foot 2 inches estimated around 450lbs, fought like a beast....he landed this monster and a 7 foot 4 inch one.....

Yep...... That's a big fish alright. Can't wait to go out again this fall. That's really big for a summer fish.

Here is part of the story from the guy who caught it...

When he hit the bait, it shot up straight up out of the water and scared the living jeepers out me when I seen half it's body emerged. Wasn't expecting that, didn't think sturgeon did that. Anyways, when my guide saw that and all of sudden got serious and was all business after that. It was a boat record, my guide has never seen one that big before. Even had a lot of spectators following us, lot of guys fishing salmon and new we had a big one, felt like a pro:)
