Oldman River July 30

Had a fun morning on the Oldman. Lots of fish mostly goldeye. We were jigging for walleye at one of the good walleye holes and my wife hooked in to this big river pike. Anyone that has caught pike in the river knows that they fight hard, and this one did.(pic.)We never did catch any walleye there, but did catch goldeye.

How heavy do you think that pike was? That would put up a good scrap in a river!

Nice fish! But I thought you said you didn't catch any walleye, unless that 2nd fish is from a different trip...

We caught the walleye in a different hole.I think the pike was 10 to 12 lbs.
