And there are folks out there who think a 0.769 SA% and a 6-1 game, in the Stanley Cup Final!!!, is good hockey.
|
Who gets the Conn Smyth (besides the ref):
-Eichel: Most points in the playoffs; -Marchessault: Most goals in the playoffs; or, -Hill: 11-4-0 record with a 0.934 SAA%. I'm guessing Eichel will but think Hill deserves it. |
^ Hill, probably.

Thx TC.
I’ll bet on anything. Bet a bottle on the first person to break a stick next season. East or west, forward or defence…… you pick.:sHa_sarcasticlol: |
We broke even this season Moose. Next year gonna get you!
Sad final series. |

I’m thinking Connor mcregularseason has more points and games won post season than the whole flames team combined since his inception.
|
^ Well of course, they are second best!

Connor and the Krauts razzle dazzle seem to always take the focus off their teams glaring shortcomings. The Flamers don’t even have that… lol |

Vegas Baby Yahooooooo!!!
:sHa_shakeshout:
The complete package.....awesome and well deserved! :sHa_shakeshout: |

A very good team assembled properly in a short amount of time. :) |

And ill say it again. Trade the Kraut for some balance and defensive depth. Heck, even pick up a goalie maybe that you dont have to pull 4 times in the same playoff year. There are currently NO bright spots to help not repeat the same outcome for the Oil in the upcoming season. Maybe through a decent well thought out trade there might be but as things currently stand, meh...... |
9-3 in a Stanley Cup Final ? Not even entertaining
Vegas gets the honors of most goals scored in a Stanley cup final game along with Leafs and Redwings.....many moons ago 1935-36 Redwings , 9-4 over Leafs 1941-42 Leafs 9-3 over Wings |

Im sure Vegas fans were entertained... |

Perhaps they don’t read the forum or maybe you are just over qualified. |

Hmmm tend to disagree cuz I have been there for a few regular season games and Vegas is over the top so could only imagine when they won the cup! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yes Pete, i have seen you use this same kinda comment on other members posts when they have an opinion on the direction of the team. We should all quit posting and commenting i guess... |

Get the proper management team in place and watch out on the development within the organization and some good solid trades that pack a punch in the line up from top to bottom pre, reg and post season too! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

It more than a draft pick, it’s years of good team management of players to instil depth on the roster for the long haul. But a few humdinger draft choices sure help out too when again managed properly with a good support system in place. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Shot taken and acknowledged Roderick however, for equal or bigger laughs, take a look back at the NHL drafts from Crosby's 2005 entry at the Flames pucks. Man that roads littered with more garbage than a New Delhi garage sale. 3 years no first rounder, (likely traded for more junk), 2 years drafting players that refused to sign, 2 decent players, one very good player, and a whole Lotta MEH. So maybe it's better to have crap years and at least have a shot at a first overall than to finish middle of the pack, draft poorly, and when you do manage to make the playoffs, depart unceremoniously in the first round with nary a whimper. |
Thats a hilarious list Roderek!
