Pm sent. Dont let the guys bother you too much. It can get real complicated witht the regs sometimes. Just use this experience to learn something, and use this board and its members as a tool. Under all the comments and ribbing you will find a lot of great guys and information on here. I give you the benifit of the doubt, kids make mistakes. What bothers me is that your dad is breaking the law also. As the adult, he needs to be responsible and know the regs and understand them so that you aren't doing anything wrong, and educating you on the rules. Learn from this, and as jst said, start a thread if you are not sure about something.

I am going to say yes. Though I have never had scented/unscented plastics in the same vicinity. What I did have though was an open bag of scented 4'' grub bodies that were in a plastic tray in my tackle bag years ago. The tray smelled like scent for quite a long time after.

What about when your eating KFC and some of that finger lickin' goodness gets smeared on your hook? I now wear surgical gloves while eating my KFC to reduce my cross contamination.

Anything that adds scent or flavor to your lure is bait and you will get ticketed by a conservation officer when caught.
