well done.:)

Lefty-Canuck 09-11-2015 09:39 PM

I realize now after I view the video and shot placement the elk slightly jumped the string because where I hit him would be impossible...I would have smoked the tree.

Hate to say but the horse shoes were with me...I checked two cams, and got into the stand about 5ish....settled in and called.

Waited for about 10-15 mins and heard something behind me, thought it was a moo cow....turned slow saw the elk, messed with him trying to get a shot for 8-10 mins and by 5:40 he had an arrow in him.

He never made a peep and I heard no other elk.

I got within 45 yards of two Bulls fighting tonight and video'd them :)

Two other Bulls were bugling at last light.

Original photos didn't work for me either, Lefty. Working now. Congrats on a nice bull. 3 years in a row is very impressive.

Lefty-Canuck 09-12-2015 11:50 AM

I don't know if he wants his ugly mug on here so I blacked out his face. This is my best friends deer from this year.

First antlered animal with his bow. 202" Green Gross

Lefty-Canuck 09-12-2015 03:46 PM

Nice deer!

I just put a tape to this one and gross ~182, net is ~167

My best archery mule deer to date.

NayNay 09-12-2015 04:51 PM

Congrats again Lefty!

kujoseto 09-12-2015 05:04 PM

Wow, a couple of great bucks there. Congrats.
LC, you're having some great seasons. You mentioned follow up shot...must need to switch to fixed blade lol
