Did they survive the mail with out getting all crushed?

The hackles on the sides are a wee bit out of round but nothing a soaking on the end of a tippet shouldnt fix in pretty short order?
Other than that,they look just fine,nice lil fly that will be getting some swing time on my line fo sho. ;)

Mine are going into the mail today. While I was tieing I ran out of olive for my WBs, so for practice I started tieing some in black and purple. In the end I had a dozen black and purple and a dozen olive, so I sent them all. It was good practice for me and I thought I would share them with you all.

Hopefully they don't get damaged to much in the mail. Can't wait to see everyone elses. If any deficiencies are noticed on my WBs, I am sure it will be because the mail man/woman was a little rough on them and would have nothing to do with my less than stellar tieing abilities. lol.

I was planning to take a group pic once I receive them all.Might have to dig my camera outta storage,not sure if I-phone will do them justice?

I am excited to see everyone's flies. Looking forward to trying a few new patterns.

I called mine the Mohair leech, but it really needs a better name. So when you see it maybe you can come up with a suggestion.

I didnt add a toe tag so here is the info.

Black Rabbit Zonker strip (Cross cut looks like crap)
Black Mohair Yarn
Black bead
10 wraps of lead.
4X hook (You can go bigger or smaller depending on what you need)

This streamer is best fished in highwater, tight to the banks. I usually let it dead drift and sink, if you dont get a hit, then some strip pauses and you will hook up if you are in fishy water. I also usually mend down stream and strip it downstream along the bank. It has produced some really nice fish for me this past year.

I substitued EP Fibre in Yellow for the Deer hair. Thought I would try something new.
No lead on the shanks of the hooks, so if you need to get it deep, you will need to fish on sink tip.
There is dazzle dubbing in yellow on the front hook underneath the Schlappen
Yellow flaked Sili legs
(Grinr- the extra one I tied for you- is all the same material- just purple with chartreuse legs)

I met up with Kingfisher Rob in person yesterday and flies are all in.Mailing them off tonight/tommorrow,most or all of you might get them by the weekend?I'll post a group pic some time tonight.They are gonna make for quite a nice lil' streamer box guys,some real nice ties/patterns,lookn forward to swingn'em and copying them myself.
