I am sure many of you might agree ... that as much as there absolutely incredible fishing in this province and in the surrounding states/provinces ... there is still something very special about the old "home waters". As I continue to explore all the water that Alberta has to offer I do still miss Ontario and my angling friends! So as I get my gear ready to explore the Forestry Trunk Road tomorrow I am somewhat distracted knowing that my friend will be up north in Ontario fishing without me next week.... this video features my best buddy Phil and the river that we have fished together for over a decade ...

The pictures give some indication as to why we keep going back!

Good luck and tight lines

Wow,beauty brookies!
Have driven across N.Ont. several times back and forth from AB-NB and always wish I had time to stop and fish....like a month, lol.
Actually did last year,1.5 days in the Soo and being a big lifelong Brookie fan,had to wet a line in Nipigon for a cpl hours just to say I did....world record BT is still safe, lol.
