Ice Saw

Does anyone know where a person can buy a ice saw in the Edmonton area for cutting a sight fishing hole through the ice?

Thanks in advance

They're in stock at Cabela's Edmonton South:

Be aware there are legal implications in Alberta when cutting a hole big enough for someone to fall in to. Also, be sure to mark the hole well when you are done. Finally, the saw is in the neighborhood of $200. Cheers.

Don't most people just use a chainsaw?

Not since Aaron Wiebe used an ice saw. lol.

The ice saw is only good down to a foot or so apparently. I've cut a few holes in ice 3' thick on fly-in lakes in northern Saskatchewan with a chainsaw and a spud bar. You find out who your friends are when it comes time to decide who is climbing down into the hole to finish it. :)

At that price better off just drilling 3 holes next to each other. Same result.
