Lac La Nonne Report June 22/23

Went to the cabin for the weekend and caught 31 Walleye and 6 Pike between me and the wife in about 6 hours of fishing. She out fished me 2:1(and won't let me forget about it) Caught the majority jigging pink and green 1/32 jig heads tipped with minnows, and a few casting/trolling Countdowns, Floaters, Taildancers, and X-Raps. The lake level is up the most I've seen it in 15 years but still a few feet below historical levels. Forgot my waterproof camera so only got a couple shots with the cellphone. Enjoy

If you forgot to apply I believe there is undersubscribed class A at Pigeon available.

Thanks for the update AppleJax and yummy lookin fillets! I'm currently building a deck at a cabin at Williams Beach beside Killdeer.....you can see it from the lake.....first pier coming out of the bay south of your place. I'm headed right to Ste Anne to fill my tags when I finish on Thursday. :)

I might have seen that construction going on. Should have drawn 714 and saved a trip! ;)

Hey AppleJax , where are you on the lake. I'm in the east bay on the southside of the lake . Walleye have been good this year !

AppleJax 07-19-2013 01:33 PM

Christina Bay on the northwest side of the lake. Yes baitcaster, those are indeed walleye cheeks aka freshwater scallops:)
