A few pics from my Pincher Creek trip last weekend

It's been awhile since I posted pics but anyway this is a few from my Pincher Creek trip. Most were caught on the dry and I was surprised in the shallows and small pools how big the trout can be in there. Anyway hope this works and that you enjoy them.
The Brown was a real treat. I spotted something rising in a small inlet no bigger than a kids wadding pool thinking nothing can live in that. Crept up about 20 yards away and made one cast and something did take. Probably had only one chance at him as they were spooky. |
Great photos...but...
Looks like a great trip Darren. Glad you were successful.
So can I congratulate you while at the same time respectfully admonish you for the pics? Looks like the some of the trout were lying on rocks; that can pose a problem to removing slime and making the fish more susceptible to disease etc. So there's my Pandora's box comment; can't wait for the haters to label me as the photo-nazi-police, lol. I did intend the criticism as respectful. I could have pm'd it, but I think they are good examples of photos that are nice and look good, but do highlight some problems/issues in handling fish. And with that, we're off... I do congratulate you on a successful outing. Cool! Smitty |
Nice fish you caught down there! Looks like a good time was had!
