Looks like i'm moving back to Edmonton...

Was sorta self employed in IT in Edmonton over the years, up until November last year. Had some family issues - and typical family messed me around when a family member was dying. Long story...

Anyhow, after more than a year away from Edmonton, I went to visit old clients on Friday when I was up for a trip and they are clamoring for me to come back. It's nice to be wanted - overwhelming to say the least but this time is the chance to do it the right way for me. Basically walking back into a ready made business with a bunch of clients. Have to register an incorporation and get my arse in gear soon.

I'm going to miss my day excursions to Lady Bow.

Might be a nice page to turn?.....you can always hit up the NSR, a little different type of fishing but also a good time.

Page to turn is not the way to put it... I feel like i've been smacked in the back of the head with a frying pan. To have this dropped in my lap as a huge gift is crazy, feel like I won the lottery.

NSR? Never did pick that lock - caught one monster of a 6" walleye my whole time fishing that river. May have to hit up BGSH for a trip out :sHa_shakeshout:

Edmontons always an excellent choice. She's given'er up here these days economics wise, pretty much got to hide to avoid work right now.

Yeah, i'll have to hit there for a quick fix now and then. I'm really going to miss the Bow river system. :(

Well, it's a done deal, i'm moving on Monday of next week.

Went up to Edmonton today, have a place to live and got incorporated. Am now the prez of "Angler Networks Incorporated". Bank accounts all set up, and thank god for good credit, the Royal Bank is being great with me all round with this new venture.

Have a network overhaul planned already, looking forward to being my own boss again. Clients are chomping at the bit already.

Best of luck to you and your new venture. Edmonton is a great city with so much to offer and i am sure it will be nice to rekindle some old friendships from the past.

Welcome back

As a born and raised Calgarian, I have to say that Edmonton isn't all that bad :)

There are 2 armpits in this province one is Edmonton and the other is Calgary. And I prefer neither. :bad_boys_20:

Actually spent 11 years in Edmonton before moving back to Calgary... Fished the nsr many times, haven't picked that lock yet.

Actually, it's an IT business, may be phishing after all... Chose Angler due to passion for fishing.
