Easy Arrow Target Removal

Just started shooting a bit more seriously again and find my old foam target arrow removal is a pain. Is there a target out there that 's good quality with easy arrow removal, or are they all the same? I don't mind paying a bit extra for something that I'll really be happy with.

Have you tried using arrow lube or ivory soap on the arrow?

If its for field points I would spend the extra bucks and get a spider web target I have one and they are awesome.

I have never lubed arrows. Actually......never even thought of that. The shooting would be with field points.

I've got a Rinehardt 18-1. Stops everything and pulls nicely.

The soap trick works too... I've got several little hotel sized bars that work...

arrow removal

I cut a 6inch piece of bike tube and wrap it around the arrow, gives you extra grip and twist, the arrow usually comes out fairly easy. I also put a rounded field point in and the arrow doesnt penetrate as deep, those were both very cheap things that made arrow removal much easier.

picked up a spyder web target from Swamp Donkey today. Stopped my arrows from close and very easy to remove. One hand and didn't even need to hold target with the other one.

I would not be shooting the arrows again if you are twisting them to get them out as the arrows are glued together and twisting them can cause the strands to come unglued and could cause the arrow to blow up on the shot.....seen it happen before. ask any arrow manufacturer they will tell you to definately not twist carbon arrrows

The spider web targets are awesome. They take my fast arrows from my Omen Pro no problem from close and far away. 2 finger arrow removal.

I tried it this weekend and couldn't believe how easy they were to remove. Way better than my old junk.

Buy a couple hard packed square straw bails; cheaper than those overpriced, over-rated, name brand targets and works just as well.
