Checking for witnesses, smart. If I find a good spot to take my boss 'ice fishing' i'll let you know

I think it's important to always have a hole dug. Nothing worse than needing a hole, then while your digging someone comes along.....now you need to dig 2 holes.

Drove right across the lake today in a SUV . Fishing was dead until the sun went down . Filled tags and went home .

Sounds like a typical pigeon lake winter walleye day. 👍🎣

Haha no, I was just wondering what it was like to drive on is all. I already have some spots from a couple years ago. Found out the boss lives right by there so we figured on taking him out but we have a little car.

a little car would not make it at all ,if it does not have 4x4 or some good clearance . Maybe next weekend if this weather keeps up . But being a car you would not be able to dive up the slipper bank when leaving the ice .

A little car is fine with winter tires. Just avoid the bigger drifts which is pretty easy now. There are a lot of bare spots showing up already. And it hit +7 and sunny yesterday afternoon.
