Tobin Lake Accommodations - Any place you would recommend?

A buddy and I are thinking of hopping in the truck and heading to Tobin Lake. Never been there before. Is there any place you fellas would recommend a guy stays at?

Thanks in advance.

Let me know where you decide to stay. I'm also thinking of 2nd week in Sept.

We have always stayed at Tobin Lake resort, simple but clean cabins and a nice sheltered marina.

I have stayed down at the bottom (Tobin Lake Resort) cabins many times. For many years they were the only option for cabin rentals on the water (in that area). Small, dirty, and very old appliances. We have had issues in the past with the fridge/freezer crapping out half way through our stay and losing all our food. The showers are very small! The beds are trash too!

The marina is very nice though.

When we left our last holiday we stopped just on top of the hill at Rusty Hook and looked at their new cabins.... very nice! They have a store right there as well if you forget anything. The cost is a fair bit more, but we average 15 hours on the water a day, so a good sleep is worth it.

Let me know if you have any other questions!
