Ray's Sportfishing Tahsis BC

Just wondered if anyone here has used Ray's Sportfishing from Tahsis BC? We are thinking of booking a Family trip.

Thanks in advance.

we fished with ray 2 years ago , before he went on his own, he was filling in at westview marine when our guide never showed up for our last day. that was good for us a great guy , put us on the fish right away , knew what he was doing, we were fishing for chinook and he limited out the 4 of us. good boat and gear, he was from alberta as well. sure beat the guide we had for the first 2 days who could not even get a salmon to bite. I would go back with ray any day .

I don't have any experience with Ray however Tahsis area is a good choice from July to the beginning of Sept. Remember that Tahsis is at the end of the inlet and it is a hour from open water which takes time out of your day fishing. Thats not to say the fishing in the inlet is no good because it can be but further up the inlet and open water is usually better. There are outfits on Nootka island, Ceepeecee and Zeballos also which gets you closer to the open waters and main runs of fish. Just my 2 bits worth....
