Are all beavers this friendly?

Hi all.
I went to fallen timber last night. The water was low and clear. No fish rising, we need a few warmer days. As i was walking along i heard a noise, looked over and saw this...http://i917.photobucket.com/albums/a...1/DSCF4403.jpg
I fished along going further and further with no hits, so I deceided to look under a few rocks to see what was on the menu. I found this guy. a golden stonefly. over an inch long. If you include the tail and antenna it was pushing two delishous inches.. http://i917.photobucket.com/albums/a...1/DSCF4405.jpg
But the hilight of the night was this...

That totally looks like a skunk to me. Am I missing something?

fishstix 05-16-2010 08:35 AM

Da, check out the link on the bottom. If you look closely at the video you can see some claw marks on its back and a cut up shoulder. I think it may have had a run in with a cougar or bear.
PS. that first picture was a skunk.

http://i917.photobucket.com/albums/a...1/DSCF4418.jpg Look at his shoulder.
