As Canadians, we are obligated to not defend ourselves, but rather rely on the quick response time of the local police department to come and save us from bad people who may wish to harm us.
All the same, I have an 870 in black that looks alot like that one, only with a Burris FastFire red dot on top. Also a Maverick 88 with pistol grip. And a Browning BPS with 20" barrel that is really sweet.....and a Sig P226. But they are all strictly for target practice, defending yourself isn't recommended by the police. |
i rely on my better half. wake her up too early and there is no fury like it....:sHa_sarcasticlol:

But the groceries :free-scared-smileys Might not be the ultimate guard dog but she's sure gonna keep a bad guy occupied long enough for me to get ready to help! :argue2: And gonna make a heck of alot of racket long before anybody gets to the door. |

Of course, if I ever managed to get either of those, I might actually *want* the zombies to attack... I like the shotgun sleeve on that pack. I just got an Eberlestock pack off the sale section of this forum. Looks like a very well-made pack. I can't wait to try it out next year. |
Get a dog
The beauty of a dog is that it can tell the good guys from the bad guys in the dark, before you shoot your brother. In the country we have know about this for years. No permit required.
