Bet it's the one with the guy holding up the giant pike in his boat.

That has been floating around for a good 7 or 8 yrs. Keeps popping up as a record Ontario or record Ab. out of Keho.

davebuck 12-26-2014 12:57 PM

Not that one

Rennich98 12-26-2014 12:59 PM

pinelakeperch 12-26-2014 01:10 PM

While I'm sure it's a hoax, I'm excited to see it nonetheless. Post a picture!

Feel free to forward the email to me @ jphutter@ucalgary.ca

I'll post it up for you.

Maybe somebody might recognize it as an old pic I'm not sure

Little Valy 12-26-2014 01:36 PM

Old pic(I think)

pinelakeperch 12-26-2014 01:46 PM

Definitely an old picture. Search "big pike ice fishing" on google images. You'll see it a couple times with claims it's from Minnesota or somewhere in Europe.

calgarygringo 12-26-2014 01:55 PM

At least goes back to 2012

If you check the one website it has been up there since 2012 so who knows how old. Fake.....

Same pic

EZM 12-26-2014 04:27 PM

If I had a nickel for "everyones buddy who just sent me a pic" who turns out to be a liar, I would retire.

Friends like that make you look like a fool.

lol.

My rule if thumb is simple ....Never post someone elses picture unless you were there to see it happen ......

Nice pike anyways ..... quite a hog

huntsfurfish 12-26-2014 04:30 PM

But, it was from keho a guy told me.

Hmmm. What was that again?

It's one of those sea run pike from East Pit.:thinking-006:

PerchBuster 10-23-2017 05:51 PM

Wow that lake really freezes up early judging by the pic!!!! Must be a foot of ice already. Better get up there and get on it. Might be able to ice fish that lake all year round by looks of it. With Pike that size in there imagine how big the Perch and Walleye must be.!!?? Great looking fish though......

WayneChristie 10-23-2017 06:28 PM

pretty sure I ate that fish a couple years ago. wasnt a pound over 46 tho
