Pike Flies
Does anyone know where i can source some large(4-5"+) pike flies in central/northern Alberta?
I'm trying to find some bigger flies for a fishing trip and cant seem to locate anything online. If anyone can point me in a direction that would be much help. |
Take two streamers, one bushy and the other a bit more slim and tie the slim streamer to the hook shank of the bushy streamer. Use braid or dacron backing to tie them together and use a very small loop knot on the trailing fly.
You get an articulated fly with two hooks just in case there is a short strike. Instant sex dungeon! |
Pike Flies
Try Fishtails, in Calgary.
Something, big and pink. Good luck |
Message FlyTheory on the forum here, he ties unreal streamer patterns and I'm sure he would tie and sell you some. He is from Edmonton.

Pike flies are somewhat seasonal, so the selection might be kind of slim. |
