Can anyone provide an update on how truck access is and if fishing action has picked up yet for Canyon Creek/Narrows/Joussard areas, thanks.

I spent a couple of nights camped on the ice at the Narows last weekend. No trouble for quad, snowmobile or sxs.

There were a few vehicles out there. From what I could tell at least two of them were towed in and out by tracked machines. There is some pretty good drifts just when you get on the ice. Pretty sketchy to take a truck out there without a solid plan B.

Fishing was steady all day Friday, with some very nice pike also caught. Saturday it slowed down, but we did well. Caught a few on Sunday before we left for home.

Good luck.

Road at Canyon Creek is plowed. Easy access Tuesday to Friday this week. Fishing has picked up but still slower than last year. Walleye are around but more burbot, whitefish and pike. A few pics from this week. Dogfish
