Shore fishing whites tomorrow
Where should we go?
As well, does anyone have any info regarding lake whites in Ghost Res.? I've heard rumours they're in there, but also heard from old timers that it's not true. |
WHats the ice at for thickness? I was thinking of going adventuring myself this weekend.... Not sure if the trip will be worth it but we will see.

no idea
I won't be on the ice for some time. |
glenmore res is frozen over. Birdseye view this morning. Only a few tiny patches of water. Mind you with double digits ahead, that will be gone in no time. But if glenmore is freezing. Ghost should be WELL ahead of it.

Im looking for a place to go on Thurs. Beautiful day.

Anyone been by ghost with an update? |
Had no luck at McGregor last Sat. Other guy I talked to wasn't making much progress from shore as well. Hope you do better.

No Lake Whites in Ghost, though ericlin has caught Lake Whites in the Bow near Bowness,, there's a thread with pics if you go a lookin. If you go to Ghost, go west as it's the last area to feeze up.

Wabamun is producing whites tight to the rocks right now! Catch and release, lots of fish, good times!

I need to retract a statement,,, commander is incorrect based on the bump thread on Ghost.

no ice at ghost
I drove up the dam road today at 12:30 and there is no ice at all on ghost lake. I could not even see any snow on the shoreline or the boat launch from where i was. I think you could still launch a boat there for at least a few more days.
