Yeah

It's too bad some folks have to get their tough guy feel from slamming others pics behind anonymity. This is a great place for hunters to exchange info, ideas and their passion.

This picture is of a very good friend of mine that has suffered the past 20 yrs with a condition known as Angleosous Spondalitous and it has left him unalble to walk very far on good terrain and impossible to raise his head up like everyone else. His greatest desire was to hunt again and this yr. I have spent almost every weekend trying to get him onto a whitetail buck. We had a couple of chances and he got one shot at a nice 5x5 but made a clean miss. A couple of hrs later he had a chance at a nice doe and made a good shot on her. Now he has jerky and sausage that he has wanted for a lot of yrs, not to mention the memories of fun afield. I had as much fun taking him as I would have had hunting myself.:sign0161:

To the top.
In light of a recent thread where the op says he sees the bashing going on when ppl post pictures.
That problem has been fixed with this thread. :)
A friendly reminder brought to you all.
Have at it!!!! Don't hold back....

Sounds good to me. One thing I disliked about this forum.

Not so sure

Hey ,you know what ,maybe a little criticism is not a bad thing. Maybe we should simply tell the naysayers when they are stepping over the line. THEN they would learn some life lessons as well. In the meantime keep posting , it`s fun , helps make the lifestyle better by communication , and for sure helps F& W do their job ( see AO last issue ,quading in rivers, great example)

recently started

Hi all I am a recent member and I can't begin to tell you how much I really enjoy reading all the hunting and fishing stories. For many years I thought I was strange because all I can think of is hunting and fishing. Pretty sure my wife thinks I love my bow or rifle more then her. Last season my 15 year old daughter shot her first deer, a small spike WT tail and the joy I felt in seeing her face as we dealt with the meat was incredible. We bought her a rifle a range membership and we spent a lot of time in the off season getting ready and when she finally got that deer I could see a look in her face that I have not seen before.

this is such a great tool for all of us to share these stories and I hope this never goes away. Thank you to all for the endless hours spent on your dime so that we can continue to share our stories.

And your telling someone to snap out of it for saying an intelligent proverb ?

Awesome.....well I guess that could be taken as picture post.:thinking-006:

really nice pictures, and I noticed the meat is not wasted and being prepared, salt on the meat to preserve it if not mistaken. good luck.
