Why are my trout lumpy?

I am at east pit and nothing trout I have pulled out are lumpy.... It won't let me upload pics from my phone, but they are like ball bearings under the skin on its sides and back?

The curse of a warm prairie pond. This is why I adventure to the foothills and cooler water. The condition is unsightly and I can"t recall what it is known as. They are edible- but when they feel soft that's when I release all of them.

Quite possibly tumours. I wouldn't eat anything from east pit.

Probably black spot disease

I asked fish and wildlife last year after catching a bunch of trout in Windsor with a bunch of lumps on them. It's a flat worm parasite. Same thing as swimmers itch in humans.

Not harmful to the trout but probably really itchy with no fingers to scratch them with.
