Bring your own rangefinder anyway. I've seen occasions where the posted yardage was not the same as the yardage my device gave me.....I know, right? It does happen though.

They mark the yardage now? Wheres the fun in that

Last year the majority of outdoor shoots were marked. Other than Provincials and a couple club shoots.

The fun in that, is that they make the shots more challenging. You know how far it is, but now you have to weave an arrow through a 3” gap between trees. Or shoot out to 80 yards or more.

I found the odd time it can be off by a yard or two

Ah well i guess been a while since i shot at one lol and thats fun we always practise the hard shots between trees and over things its fun practising that way

The 3D shoot we attend is non range finder, but that's the rules they run with.

I'm off to Wolverine today so I can get up to speed on the traditional 3D stuff.

36 years ago was a long time to be away from the old stick Chucker,,, it has been the funest archery to date.

Just under $200 and "hopefully" I can squeeze the group down from my last shoot.

If it's a manageable distance I won't even pay attention to the staked yardage. I'll just judge the target then shoot. If it extreme up hill or down hill, or further than 50 or so, I'll range it.
