New to red deer

I now officially live in red deer.i going to take my 6year old out fishing soon.where is a good spot for Him? Any local trout ponds?

Waskasoo Pond at Heritage Ranch is stocked with trout and if you don't mind traveling 1/2 an hour I really like Hansens Dam by Eckville, Dickson Trout Pond is about 40 minutes away.

Dickson Point is the name of the campsite and they have 25 sites at $21 a night.
