This is disgusting!!

Got tons of snow here in Red Deer, all small trees and shrubs are flattened, This snow crap is way to early it is down right disgusting..

BUSHRVN 09-22-2018 09:07 AM

It's depressing!! I've got way too much stuff to do yet and need some warmth for it!!!!!!

reddeerguy2015 09-22-2018 09:15 AM

B.s for sure.

It will warm up, we will get a bunch of things done.

I am glad that I am not a farmer with a couple of thousand acres of grain standing.

Chewbacca 09-22-2018 09:18 AM

I’ll be that guy.
Carbon tax dollars at work. :fighting0074::)

pgavey 09-22-2018 09:30 AM

snow

We have been fortunate here in the SW Sunny yesterday, a bit of rain last night
Got the roof tin on my new shop project yesterday. Hope it stays away for a while. I feel for you guys, I remember what the crops looked like two falls ago.
Way too early for that crap.

Just enough snow and the proper moisture density to get the cross country ski’s out. Game on! Winter is fun until January 👍

If it makes you feel better I work up in Nunavut and it started snowing over a month ago, just got back from a 2 week stint and it snowed every single day, there’s like 6 inches+ on the ground and it’s there to stay until June

Not here to stay, but I'd guess we got about 5"-6" last night , and we're a long way from the arctic.

But that where snow belongs, not on the plains yet.

does it ALL outdoors 09-22-2018 01:19 PM

I'm a winter guy, I LOVE it! The snow that is, not the -20

But not yet, WAY too soon, the Santas Anonymous Toy Run is next weekend still.

Gonna fire up the sled today and take er for a rip

Even though this snow will be gone shortly, I feel bad for the farmers. Lots of delays now waiting for things to dry up enough to get back harvesting. Lots of crops on the ground too.

sgill808 09-23-2018 01:39 PM

Winter sucks. It really really sucks.

And the older I get the more it sucks!

Lived in this province my entire life and this ain't good for guys with crop out but it sure will help pastures. Those who think it's winter and it sucks should maybe move indoors or to a different climate. I kinda/sorta enjoy being able to tell where critters have been.:sHa_shakeshout:

Die Winter... Die

Smokinyotes 09-23-2018 08:27 PM

I like winter also but not until the crops are all off, the cows brought home from pasture and the ground is frozen actually if it never snowed till January I’d be happy.

fordtruckin 09-23-2018 09:15 PM

I’ve been jonesing for snow for the past 2 months. Gotta take the sled out!!! In reality I’m halfway through new roof and siding on my house and am still splitting firewood for the winter so once the siding is done and I have my firewood up, bring it on!!

Big Grey Wolf 09-24-2018 08:17 AM

We have had 7 snow days this September where ground was totally covered, west of Edmonton. My rule of thumb was after 3rd snow it stayed and winter set in. Will be bad for farmers, need most of October warm with lots of wind.
