First guess might be closest..lol . Toes all in straight line, a little larger than my thumb

Looks like a cougar pug mark to me.

To me it is definitely cat. Just by the size alone, even though it is melted I have to say cougar.

Cat

Definitely not Grizzly, cat for sure.

Due to the lack of claw marks you can knock Grizzly off the list, I'm gonna say Cougar as well.

I may be wrong but I have yet to see a cougar with a 7 1/2" wide track . I wish I had found these tracks a day or so sooner , who knows the culprit may have even been standing in them still . Yes , they are melted a little but the toes in a line and a long narrow pad tells me it is a bear , wish it was a clearer picture . Found these tracks in 108 about 40 miles east of the mountains .

A bears foot was exactly where that track is recently.

Cat, melted coug track.

morinj 02-17-2016 09:57 PM

It seems that you can make out light claw marks at the second pic, if I was to guess I would say it is a front grizzly paw

abbysouthpaw 02-17-2016 10:03 PM

cougar or lynx.if the snow is heavy i would say cougar

I think so moose , I'll try to get my another photo to post. It shows the back pad over lapping the front .Track is definitely not round like a cat or wolf . Wish there were more clear tracks , a day sooner would have helped .
