Where to hunt In WMU area's

Hi Guys and Gals, its my first season hunting in Alberta and i've got a antlered white tail deer license for wmu 406 west of calgary and not sure where is a good and legal spot to hunt. I have looked at the maps but the boudaries are a little confusing if you don't know the area. If anyone has any good hunting spots i'd apreciate it if you could let me know. first of all welcome to the hunting community.Secondly i trust you have read the regs front to back twice ,if not ,do so.this will give you an overview of the regs.The regs that come from the venders on the other hand are only a summary of the rules.a complete book "THE WILDLIFE ACT" can be bought at Map Town for about $30.It has a legal discription of each boundry of each wmu and a legal of each of the rules and regs.Once you know the rules ,get out and do some scouting.Most of us have been out for a month or so now getting ready for bow season.Good luck:wave:

You don't need the Wildlife Act for legal land description. This is from the regs and the regs contain the legal description. I can see though if you don't know the area at all it may be difficult to follow the boundries. I'm not a Flamer so I can't help you with the area:D
