Minor oil spill on North Saskatchewan river tributary

Just so outdoorsmen know in case anyone is going into the Washout Creek area.

Looks like a 40K liter crude oil spill happened on Thursday at Washout Creek which flows into the NSR upstream of Drayton Valley.

Yikes.

These oil companies might have to start smart pigging more often. The more of these spills that happen, the worse it will be for any new development.

Should turn into a million litres soon. Just wait until the greenies get out of bed.

Lets go fishing for the some extra oily fish. Companies need to do better during this downturn it's really ruining their reputation.
