Bent guide on fishing rod

I bought a new Uglystik GX2 medium action rod and somehow after fishing only once I bent one of the guides inwards and down towards the rod.

I was able to carefully bend it back into position and there appears to be no damage.

Is this normal or have I potentially compromised my rod? I'm going to be more careful from now on!

Done that a few times over the years. If no visible damage you should be ok

bend it back and keep fishing

great rods, Ive landed a 60 inch sturgeon on a 6 1/2 footer. I think Shakespeare needs to go back to their old double footed guiudes, the new stryle always bends. they are usually ok if you carefully bend them back
