Anyone heard when Mckinnon's Flats opens this year?

Access

It usually has more to do with road condition and melt which will likely be late this year..... keep in mind this access point gets little sun at this time of year so it will likely be closed till May

Might want to check with AEP. Extensive upgrades are planned for this year under the bow river access management plan including road upgrades. I think it is scheduled to be closed during construction.

Scheduled for the end of the summer ie September after the long weekend

Walked down to the river today - sign says April 15 open. Road is clear as is parking lot but there is still a 10 foot ice shelf. Few weeks still with the forecast as is.
