Big.Bear 01-12-2009 01:38 PM

LMAO! that made my day

raised by wolves 01-12-2009 02:09 PM

Funny, but scary. The shame is that was someone's pet.

It was not so long ago that 2 dumb, but rich, US oilmen decided to go moosehunting near Burmis and came out after only an hour in the bush, each with field dressed mule.

Big.Bear 01-12-2009 02:15 PM

Ugliest elk iv ever seen lol!...on the other hand it is sad as it probably was someones pet and I am sure someones in a pig pile of shat.

TreeGuy 01-12-2009 03:29 PM

Man, I sincerly hope that's a joke. Mind you if P-star is posting it then................

Pretty friggin sick.

I bet there's someone willing to pay $1000 to shoot a dog if he's tied up so the *&^#*& doesn't have to walk far.

Bassett 01-12-2009 04:54 PM

Not to be a downer but what's the fun in shooting a llama?

ceedub 01-12-2009 05:06 PM

I'm sure that's a set up joke to get some internet attention. I don't believe all the old "2 americans went Moose hunting" stories that I've heard. In this day and age, nobody's gonna shoot a llama by mistake. I did have a good chuckle though, someone did some thinking for that one.

Reminds me of that Leaning Tree post card. "Okay lady, it's your elk. Just let me get my saddle off of him."

I totaly recall hearing from a former co-worker who lives in thunder bay about a humungous whitetail shot in that area a few years ago.... to bad it coincided with a remf elk reintroduction in the area the same year. lol Same thing happened in one of the eastern states.

That elk didn't look healthy anyways!!!

If the story is true then I think if they were dumb enough to shoot a lama then they are dumb enough to forget the tag lol.

BrownBear416 01-12-2009 06:01 PM

I just got this is the email today.Just thought it would be good for a laugh and also show what kind of crazies are really out there if it's real. :) There was like 10 pics in the email so I just picked a few, looking back now there is some with what looks like a tag affixed to the carcass

Why else would you feild dress a llama?

Rocks 01-12-2009 09:01 PM

The back of a pickup is a good place for one of those vile creatures!

packhuntr 01-12-2009 09:55 PM

Yup, that a mighty impessive elk all right. Good for you Rusty Saunders.

chuck0039 01-12-2009 09:57 PM

could you imagine if they never got pulled over. they would be sharing there "elk" with friends and family haha yummy..

Although it is a little disturbing that there are people who go hunting with out knowing what the animal they are hunting looks like.. I guess they never took a hunters education class.

You never know with some people...............could be real????????

When I was a kid, when anybody could just go buy a hunting licence and tags and shoot male or female of the species. My uncle worked at a gas station, one day this guy pulled in for gas. He was all excited about this mule deer he got and only on his 1st time ever hunting. So my uncle went over to see this guys deer in the back of his truck. Well you'll never guess what the guy had in the box of his truck. He shot someone's Donkey. Guess with the big ears he thought it was a mule deer doe. Honest to God this is a true story.
