Bc turkeys non resident

I found an area in bc that holds some turkeys as of today anyway. Maybe ill come back in the fall. Bc regs says its ok for unrestricted non resident license to hunt without guide for game birds. I cant seem to find the difference between restricted non resident and unrestricted non resident? Can anyone point me in the right direction

All I can say is I phoned Victoria yrs back to purchase a license and they ran me around like a horse race.

Finally got the license and every and I mean every rancher I approached would not give permission. Finally I went to some forestry land and was bothered 3 times in the same day by F&W.

Learned my lesson and have since kept my Turkey hunting to Montana and other states so. But good luck

Pretty easy process, can buy your license at a Service BC office.

Most of the good turkey hunting I've had or seen is on crown land.

Yes, just make sure that you have a Services BC office near where you want to hunt and it's open.

Thanks for info. Seen 18 turkeys in groups 2-3 spread out a bit thru out where we were exploring. So hopefully they will stick around for fall

They can really move around. Check higher and farther back in the valleys. I run into them grouse hunting and elk hunting. The hens are especially good eating.
