Adult Swim Lessons

Anyone know of a good place/program for an adult to take some swimming lessons, preferably Northend of Edmonton.

Any personal experience with the program? Would prefer a place that a full grown man isn't going to feel embarrassed haha.

Thanks

No need to be embarrassed at all, at least you are taking steps.... Happy swimming :)

Keep your fingers closed and your toes pointed.

Good on you for expanding your skills.

I believe the YMCA offers adult swimming lessons as well.

I do not know if NAIT offers them but I took mine at SAIT. You will be surprised there are lots of people who take the lessons. I thought I could swim having learned swimming in the river but no the instructor said I needed to learn the basics and proper methods. What I did not like was how crowded the pool was. The beginning class got a couple of lanes to practice in and the other lanes had advanced swimmers.

Can’t help you but good job on taking the first step.

It could save your life or someone else’s and will open up lots of things to experience.

I seen lots of adult swim lessons going on at O’Leary, another place was at commonwealth, but that place was busier.
