Bounty in Alberta
I have been reading that there currently is or has been a bounty placed on certain animals such as boars, wolves etc in Alberta? Is there still current information on this?
Does anyone have experience with such? Land locations? Regulations? How to collect? Much appreciated for any info. |

The wolf bounty seems to be the hot topic. I assume you can hunt on private land with permission.? Where would you go to collect? I assume you bring the whole wolf to collect. In some reports they punched the ears for exchange,
Hmmm hopefully no animal rights activists on the site. I'm all for saving a species but willing to protect our cattle industry at the cost of a few wolves. |

So according to this expert we are not only killing wolves inhumanly, but taking away their ability to hunt as a pack by taking a wolf out of the pack. He thinks they need to be managed in a different ( more human) way. Would love to hear a experts opinion on what we should do. :sHa_sarcasticlol:
Maybe hugs all the way around.:love0025: |

A trapper told me the Wild Sheep Foundation and Fish and Game have been paying $300 per wolf for several years

Great information if one wanted to make a case for shutting down hunting.
