Fly Fishing Pictures. Whiteswan lake August 08

I've been meaning to post these for awhile. Myself, fishingal, and skykomish sunrise went on a trip out to BC back in August. Here are a few pics.

Bet you can't guess what is in the net!!

Some action shots in the rain. Pontoons are much more stable than I expected. Just prior to this we road out a storm (3-4 ft swells) that would have scared me right off the water in the aluminum. I felt safe in the pontoon.

Absolutely love this photo, rod bent right over, water a froth with rain pouring down. I don't think I have a photo that screams fishing as loud as this one.

Wow! Whiteswan lake haven't been there for 36 years. When my family first came over to Canada We had our first vacation there I remember my mom crying because she was so scared as we were driving up the logging road to get there and the logging trucks were booting it down them roads like madmen, I caught my first fish there---we went there for 3 straight years for holidays but then the campground and boat rental place closed down

Nice pics man,

That's a hardcore fishing shot for sure!

As for what is in the net a really small trout?
second guess is your shirt!

Awesome pics FP. Did any of my advice pay off? Unfortunately, that lake does have a lot of lengthy but skinny fish. But you still caught a few with some respectable girth.

You thought that was fun, you need to icefish it!!

LOL that's purdy funny guys. It was hot out! The tips were good tundra thanks, also thanks to chironomid. The catatonics were the trik. Photos were curtousy of skykomish.

It's a duck in the net. Unfortunate fellow. That was the only pic cuz he wasn't stickin around for another pic. Thankfully he was fine afterwards.

The Anvil 10-18-2008 03:31 AM

I never would have guessed a duck!
