fire at canadian tire 130th ave

A friend just asked, and a coworker heard that this location had a big fire ongoing... And perhaps injuries/fatalities???

I'm stuck behind wifi, can anyone confirm/deny what's going on? I like to buy fishing stuff there.

What are the odds that someone put the leaking liquid algecide on a shelf above the broken container of chlorine pellets? And then there was a big problem.

Was there also. Found out that it was an electrical fire that started in the roof of the building. Heard that there were some big flames coming out of the back of the building. All kinds of emergency vechiles there also.

Reroute

I went there earlier for a few things as well. It was all yellow taped like a crime scene so rerouted over to the one on Mcleod instead.

slivers86 05-17-2012 09:37 PM

Glad to hear there are no injuries..

NOW....
Smoke sales?????

Some things must have smoke damage of sorts :D

I would doubt they would have a smoke damage sale; that's the insurance companies issue; the stuff will likely show up at auction. Not impossible, but I don't think probable. A fire in a Canadian Tire would get mighty interesting if it was near the aerosols/oils/lube/chemicals section.
